Rumor has it that if you pet the plant and sing to it, daily, the peteto harvest will be plentiful in the next season.
It's not uncommon for tourists to gather round to observe this weird sight of farmers petting and singing to plants.
Sea Sour

A sweet-sour fruit naturally found on the shores of islands on Laileb-X, the bushes grow both completely submerged and up along the edges of the water.
Farmers usually have to overwater in order to keep these plants alive.
Wishing Star

The Wishing Stars of old were with smaller, brighter flowers, at least according to records...and legends have it, were able to grant wishes.
The flowers grown in greenhouses nowadays are big and nice gifts, giving them means the gifter wants all of the giftees wishes to come true.
Curious Candy

Cyarrot

Carrots are sweet, but these can be sweeter. The bright color of the Cyarrot can add a pop to any cyalad or cyoup.
The stems are a little spicy, but can cause indigestion in some Novatts...the reddish leaves aren't treated unlike a flower, and are sold separate as alternative corsages for any formal occasions.
Swimmin' Ribbon

When threatened, the 'ribbons' pressed behind the eye and the mollusk sinks to the deeper end of the shallows.
Shorter, but bristly ones have alternatively been called 'Swimstacios'.
Sunrise Crayfish

Did you know? Back in the day the surface of it's carapace were scraped off, and ground into a 1/8th ingredient of a rare pigment? It wasn't an uncommon thing to find these Crayfish with roughened shells.
